My AIESEC volunteer internship in Sri Lanka was a unique experience that let me work in a multicultural environment and contribute to the local community. Through online collaboration with colleagues from South Africa, I improved my remote communication and my ability to navigate a digital environment, and by meeting people from different cultures I gained new friendships and a whole new perspective.

The worries I had before Tian arrived turned out to be completely unnecessary, because the experience was wonderful from start to finish, for everyone involved.

Our experience with the international student was truly special. My boyfriend and him got so close that they still talk almost every day, and last summer he came back to Serbia and spent two weeks with us. Definitely an experience I'd recommend to anyone considering becoming a global host.

The kids spoke English with her and picked up some Turkish, we swapped recipes, and took her to Sremski Karlovci and Petrovaradin Fortress. She became part of our family. SkillUp is a wonderful project for young people who'd like to find out what it's like to be an entrepreneur, learn the basics of business and marketing, and build a brand in general. The project gives real insight into what business actually looks like and its different components, which is key for young people still weighing their academic and career path.

I joined the SkillUp Entrepreneurship initiative. Working on sustainable development and business planning with high schoolers in Novi Sad was incredibly fulfilling. We didn't just give lectures - we analyzed real needs and shaped ideas together in a realistic, applicable way.

The SkillUp project helped me step out of my comfort zone, meet new people, and realize I could do more than I thought. Nobody had to be the loudest or the best in English to take part - everyone could contribute in their own way.

What meant the most to me was the relationship that naturally grew with the kids through workshops, conversations, and shared activities. The atmosphere was both educational and friendly, full of warmth and positive energy.

Volunteering in Novi Sad is an experience I'll remember for a long time. Working with the students gave me so much positive energy - they were curious, open-minded, and always ready to take part in the workshops. My internship at Smart Agency changed my life. From day one I felt the team's trust, worked on major projects, including a Skechers campaign published in Vogue Serbia. Today I'm permanently employed at the company.

A year after my first internship, I set off on a new volunteer experience, this time in Romania. AIESEC internships are a privilege you definitely shouldn't miss - the experience you gain goes beyond what words can describe.

SkillUp is a wonderful project for young people who'd like to find out what it's like to be an entrepreneur, learn the basics of business and marketing, and build a brand in general. The project gives real insight into what business actually looks like and its different components, which is key for young people still weighing their academic and career path.

I joined the SkillUp Entrepreneurship initiative. Working on sustainable development and business planning with high schoolers in Novi Sad was incredibly fulfilling. We didn't just give lectures - we analyzed real needs and shaped ideas together in a realistic, applicable way.

The SkillUp project helped me step out of my comfort zone, meet new people, and realize I could do more than I thought. Nobody had to be the loudest or the best in English to take part - everyone could contribute in their own way.

What meant the most to me was the relationship that naturally grew with the kids through workshops, conversations, and shared activities. The atmosphere was both educational and friendly, full of warmth and positive energy.

Volunteering in Novi Sad is an experience I'll remember for a long time. Working with the students gave me so much positive energy - they were curious, open-minded, and always ready to take part in the workshops. I was especially impressed by how motivated they were to learn, ask questions, and exchange ideas.

My internship in Belgrade was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. For two months I worked in a completely new environment, met people from all over the world, and immersed myself in Serbian culture - an experience that changed me forever.

All I needed was two suitcases and one plane ticket to step out of my comfort zone, and the experience that followed was priceless. I was surrounded by wonderful people who turned this into the best experience of my life.

My family loved spending time with our intern - we swapped recipes from Chinese and Serbian cuisine and included her in family celebrations. The worries I had before Tian arrived turned out to be completely unnecessary, because the experience was wonderful from start to finish, for everyone involved.

Our experience with the international student was truly special. My boyfriend and him got so close that they still talk almost every day, and last summer he came back to Serbia and spent two weeks with us. Definitely an experience I'd recommend to anyone considering becoming a global host.

We're a family with three children, and for almost a month we hosted Eylul, a student from Türkiye. The kids spoke English with her and picked up some Turkish, we swapped recipes, and took her to Sremski Karlovci and Petrovaradin Fortress. She became part of our family.
