Social Responsibility of AIESEC in Serbia
AIESEC is a global, independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization led by young people, present in over 100 countries worldwide. Our activities are not aimed at making a profit, but at long-term social impact through the development of young people between the ages of 18 and 30 and the improvement of the community. Our working model is based on partnerships with companies, educational institutions, and organizations to provide young people with relevant practical experiences and contribute to the development of leadership skills.
GLOBAL ORGANIZATION
AIESEC develops young leaders through a global network of its branches in over 100 countries. By connecting different cultures, we create opportunities for learning and progress for individuals.
INDEPENDENT ORGANIZATION
All decisions within the organization are made autonomously, without the influence of external factors, corporations, or other institutions, which allows us to remain consistent with our mission.
NON-PARTISAN ORGANIZATION
Although we encourage understanding of world trends, AIESEC does not support or stand behind any political party. Our focus remains exclusively on a neutral space for the development of young people.
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION
All funds realized through projects and partnerships are reinvested into maintaining and improving the organization's work. Profit is never our ultimate goal, but solely a means to expand positive impact.
LED BY YOUNG PEOPLE
AIESEC is an organization completely led by young people aged 18 to 30. These young people are at every organizational level and are independently responsible for every decision or action taken.
Sustainable Development Goals and Cooperation with the United Nations
AIESEC is globally recognized as a non-governmental organization with consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), positioning us as a relevant partner in implementing initiatives aimed at youth development and sustainable development.
Through cooperation with organizations like UNESCO and UNIDO, AIESEC actively contributes to improving youth employability and developing entrepreneurial competencies, connecting education with real business and international experiences. These initiatives allow partners to be part of concrete solutions addressing key challenges of the labor market and society.
Through the global initiative Youth for Global Goals, AIESEC engages young people in achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a special focus on areas like quality education and well-being. In this way, partners have the opportunity to directly link their CSR and ESG strategies to measurable social impact.
