AIESEC Membership
Join a story that has been lasting for more than 7 decades and participate in organizing and implementing our activities, gain experience through practical work and expand your network of acquaintances, leaving a positive impact on the world and people around you. We recruit new members twice a year - in spring (May and June) and winter (October and November). Application process
The whole process is very straightforward and we are here to support you every step of the way. We guide you from the initial application, through getting to know the team, all the way to the results and officially becoming a member.

Membership application requirements
Applying for AIESEC membership is as simple as possible and designed to be accessible to everyone who wants change. The main requirements are that you're between 18 and 30 years old, that you live or study in Serbia, and that you have a solid knowledge of English (minimum B1 level) so you can communicate smoothly in an international environment. To secure your spot, you're completely free to apply to several different departments at the same time. While some positions may require some additional knowledge, all those details will be clearly stated during the selection process, and our team is always there to explain everything in good time.

AIESEC works because of people who dare to take responsibility. At the beginning you will be assigned to a department that can mean the most for your development, and as you grow within the organization, opportunities to try other departments will not be lacking.
What will you develop in AIESEC?
AIESEC believes that a true leader must be self-aware, solution-oriented, a world citizen and someone who knows how to inspire others. These four competences are not just theory - you build them through every project, every team and every challenge you take on in the organization.
Solving real social challenges
You will work on case studies dealing with real problems in our society, from sustainable development to education. This is an opportunity to combine your creativity with concrete actions and offer solutions that can drive positive change.
Working with companies that listen to youth
Here you don't just sit and listen to lectures. Companies and organizations come to hear your perspective and ideas. Through direct dialogue with them you have the opportunity to influence how large systems approach topics that matter to young people.
Connecting around shared values
You will meet young people from Subotica, NiÅ”, Novi Sad and Belgrade who don't want to just be observers. Sharing ideas with peers who have the same motivation and awareness of the world around us will spark in you the energy to create new projects.
Taking initiative and activism
You will learn how to translate your views and critical thinking into clear proposals. Through teamwork you develop the confidence to speak publicly about problems and take initiative, which is the first step towards becoming a leader in your community.
What are the member obligations?
AIESEC membership means real commitment - about 10 hours per week, regular meetings, weekly responsibilities and attendance at AIESEC events. It's not always easy, but it's precisely through that consistency that you can grow and leave a mark felt around the world.

Frequently asked questions
We know you have a lot of questions and that's completely normal before such an important step. That's why we've gathered all the answers to the dilemmas that our future members ask most often.
About 10 hours per week is the average commitment of a member, but this varies depending on projects and activities. Regular meetings and weekly responsibilities are a mandatory part of membership.
Absolutely! The vast majority of our members are active students or employed. AIESEC organization is adapted to the student schedule and we understand you have other obligations too.
You gain practical experience in project management, business communication and teamwork. You build an international network of contacts and have access to global opportunities through the AIESEC platform.
New member intake takes place once or twice a year, usually at the beginning of the semester. Follow our communication channels so you don't miss the next call.
During the application process we talk about your interests and abilities. Based on that and the needs of the organization, together we make a decision about the department that will suit you best.
