Projects for High Schoolers
Our projects for high schoolers are based on the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and are designed to help you better understand the world around you, develop important skills, and gain experience that can be useful in your further education, personal growth, and future career. Projects last 5 to 6 weeks and are led by international students in English in Subotica, Novi Sad, Belgrade, Zaječar, and Niš.
What do you get by participating in the project?
Participation in the project brings you much more than traditional workshops. Through working with international students, interactive activities, and topics connected to real challenges of today, you develop skills, knowledge, and self-confidence that you can use in school, college, your future career, and daily life.
Through the project, you have the opportunity to work with young people from different countries and learn about their cultures, experiences, and ways of thinking. This helps you develop a broader picture of the world, openness to diversity, and a better understanding of topics that are important on a global level.
Workshops are held in English, which gives you the opportunity to use the language in real and relaxed situations. Through discussions, team tasks, presentations, and practical examples, you develop confidence in communication, without the pressure of grading and traditional school approach.
Through group work and conversation with other participants, you develop communication, active listening, teamwork, and the ability to clearly express your opinion. The project helps you to be more confident in yourself, more open to different points of view, and readier to participate in discussions and joint activities.
During the project, you develop skills that are important for college, job, and personal growth - public speaking, critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, creativity, decision-making, and teamwork. You learn all these skills through practical tasks, discussions, and workshops, rather than just theory.
Through selected workshops, you get acquainted with the entrepreneurial mindset, idea development, problem-solving, and digital skill basics. The goal is to learn how to identify challenges in your environment, design possible solutions, and gain skills that will be useful in further education and future professional development.
Perfect knowledge of the English language, previous experience, or special prior knowledge about the topics we cover is not required for participation. It is enough to be open to learning, conversation, and exchange of ideas. Every participant has space to contribute in their own way and progress according to their own pace.
Throughout the project, you will have the support of international students and our organizing team. Workshops are designed so that you can freely ask questions, participate in conversations, work in a team, and develop your ideas in a safe and supportive environment.
At the end of the project, you receive a certificate of participation, which confirms your engagement, developed skills, and international experience. The certificate can be a useful addition to your resume or applications for future programs, exchanges, scholarships, and extracurricular activities.

We know you have questions about how workshops work, who leads them, and how you can get involved. Here we have highlighted answers to the most common questions of high school students.
During the year, we establish cooperation with a large number of public and private schools, kindergartens, after-school cares, playrooms, and organizations. When we establish cooperation, children from that institution have the opportunity to attend our program free of charge. Application goes in four steps: (1) fill out the form so we can record your interest, (2) if we organize a project in the school you attend - or there is a possibility of participation in another institution - we will inform you in a timely manner, (3) if you want the project to be held in your school, you can inform the student parliament or the school itself, (4) our team remains at your disposal for all questions.

No. Basic knowledge for communication is enough - the point of the workshops is free communication without grading, not perfect grammar.
